Hi, my name is Nick and I am 24 years old. I love animals, I have one dog at home, her name is Maggie. Maggie is a half Yorkshire terrier, half miniature pinscher. She is fifteen and I love her deeply. I have a lot of experience with taking care of her. This includes taking her out, going on walks, feeding her and making sure she is happy and healthy. I have a lot of experience with dogs, I volunteer at the local animal shelter, the wake county animal shelter to be exact. I love taking care of dogs whether that be walking them, or checking up on them. I am happy to help in any way that I can. I make sure they have food and water. When I first meet the dog(s) I approach them very slowly. I can tell by their behavior if they are scared or not. If the tail is behind the legs and the ears are down then I know to take it easy. Offering the dog treats to show they can trust me. I want to make sure the dog is comfortable with me before my clients leaves. I love playing with the dogs, if they have any toys I use those. I will respect my clients rules for the dog. Feeling schedule, walking, interaction with other dogs. If allowed I would love to sleep with the dogs and snuggle them. If they need to sleep in a crate then I will put them in their crate. I will try me best to make the dog feel comfortable, and happy!
