Pet care experience
A bonified love of all animals, I have experience in both cat and dog care. I have been a cat dad for two years, and have been my friends go-to sitter for a few years prior to that. I strive to provide your pets with the same love and care while you're away as I would for my own cat. I'm comfortable with all things cat care: grooming, litter box cleaning, play time. I also can provide care to dogs of all energy levels, and am happy to get them as much exercise as they need to stay tuckered out.

Nick did a great job keeping caring for our two cats! You can tell he's a cat person by the wonderful and numerous photos he sent, only a cat lover would be able to get some of those expressions and positions unique to our feline friends. Our cats can be on the shyer side but it was clear that Nick was able to coax them out of their shells with scritches and play. We just moved to the neighborhood and are so grateful to have found our new go to guy—thanks for taking care of Io and Marcus!
Nick has been an incredible find on Rover. His care for both cats and dogs is truly exceptional. He's not just reliable with feeding schedules and clean-ups, but his genuine affection for animals sets him apart. Nick goes above and beyond, ensuring that our pets not only receive excellent care but also plenty of love, pets, and cuddles. I cannot bring your pets into my own home due to my cat's preference to single living, but am happy to come to yours and provide your pet with the love and attention they need. I am very respectful of other's living spaces, and enjoy fitting right into the normal routines of your pets. Whether they require a walk/run, or just food and cuddles, I'm happy to provide them exactly what they need.

I would like to know any special needs that your pet may have. Additionally, certain preferences are also good to know: where they like to eat, where they might hide, any "accident" prone areas that I should check in on during my visits.
A typical day
I can tailor activity to the energy level of the dog. For high energy dogs, I can accommodate long walks/runs, or playing in a park. Lower energy dogs will still get their walk, but I am happy to supervise them doing their thing and resting/receiving pets.

I'm no stranger to the routine of pet care. I'm available for check ins before 9am, after 5pm, and (depending on proximity to my home/work) midday.
