Pet care experience
I've had experience with dogs from childhood with having dogs in the home. For the last 18 months my partner and I have trained a rescue that we adopted. She has given me invaluable experience in working with a large, strong, reactive, high energy, untrained dog and her behaviour has vastly improved in her time with our family.

Nick watched turtle for the day, and I will definitely be sending Turtle to him again. He’s super flexible with pickup/drop off timing and took exceptional care of Turtle. Between Turtle getting to play in the yard with Zoe and going for walks, he got lots of exercise, and even relaxed enough to sleep, which almost never happens on a first visit!
Nick was excellent with my dog Fett. Spend quality time with him and he was a happy dog when I picked him up at end of day. I’d recommend Nick as his compassion and happiness in taking care of your pet is noticeable.
Nick and his family are the perfect fit for Daisy! After meeting Nick, I had no qualms about leaving or 4 month old baby in his care. So far, we've had a couple of doggy day care visits with Nick and recently, an overnighter. I wasn't worried about Daisy at all while in Nick's care. Highly recommend Nick and Daisy loves him :-).

At my home my dog Zoe will be around and she will want to play. She is large (60 lbs), high energy, and still working on her manners with strangers and on leash. If your dog is compatible and would enjoy some full-contact play, then I'd love to watch your dog at my home with our large fully-fenced backyard. Inside, Zoe is not allowed on furniture or to play rough. Alternatively I can come to your home for visits through the day if that would work better. I am happy to look after your pet in whatever way you would like.

Please let us know if the dog is not spayed or neutered. Also we'd love to know how your dog behaves in unleashed play with other dogs. I'd also love to know your dog's typical energy level so I can tailor walks and play to suitably tire them out.
A typical day
I live right across from Churchill park, which is great for short walks or throwing the ball. For longer walks we can head south to the waterfront trail or north up to Third Avenue Park, or even out West to Lake Ontario Park. We also can play ball in the large fenced yard, or hang out in the sun. We have room for your dog's bed inside too.

I'm working part time and have good flexibility on weekdays for dog-walking, dog-sitting, and dog-boarding. I am available for boarding or sitting on some weekends as well.
