Pet care experience
My claim to the doggo hall of fame: I adopted a very anxious Labrador and turned her into one of the most chillest dogs in the neighborhood! Thanks to working with a private dog trainer and some pretty thorough discipline, patience and practice, my dog Stella had been so transformed to cool dog status, even her previous owner didn't even know it was her when she met her last! I'm pretty active, enjoy getting out on hikes, and have been looking after dogs for almost 3 years here on San Juan Island. I love meeting new furry friends and almost always have treats in my pocket to introduce myself with. I have experience with elder dog care now and can also work with your puppy while you're gone on trainings. San Juan Island bookings only please.

Nick came for a meet & greet, and was great with my (sometimes weird) dog. They had 2 successful walks. I will definitely rebook.
Nick goes above and beyond when taking care of our dog. He is responsible, reliable and genuinely cares for our pup. Nick always makes sure Sevvie gets plenty of exercise and play, and above all, Sevvie is excited when he gets to go stay with Nick. We know that Sevvie is in good hands when he is in Nick's care.
Nick is such a caring caretaker for your pet! You can tell that he loves your pet just like you love your pet--making sure that they are loved, cuddled, and given all the treats. He provided updates during his stay and never hesitated to contact with any questions or concerns. I could tell our dogs missed him after his stay! He went above and beyond to make sure our little family members were cared for.
Nick has been around my 5 year-old mixed breed rescue dog since he was a lil' pup. He's always been patient, loving, affectionate, and responsible with him. Having been a rescue dog owner himself, he is familiar with training methodologies and doggie psychology. He's respectful of my rules/preferences, and my pup is always exhausted for a good 2 days from playing with him so much every visit. I call him his "dog-father", and he's on the emergency contact list for my guy (and for me!) Basically, he's the best option for pet care-taking.

Having an elderly dog also taught me a different kind of patience than working with puppies. I like hiking and and happy to take your pup out if that's something you think your pet can benefit from. I only offer in home sitting right now and will leave your home the same or in better shape than I found it.

I like to take dogs on hikes and swimming if they are up for it. I will spend as much time outdoors as possible and bring them whenever I go whenever possible, including work.
