Celebrity Dog-Sitter

Pet care experience

UPDATE XMAS AND NEW YEAR: Available for both Holidays. Any dog/dogs that will be with me over the Holidays, must be able to travel to Fremont (30 miles) and spend time with my Elderly folks. Both Parents are dog lovers, and absolutely love the company. They have a 6 ft fenced in 1/4 acre yard, and easy access in and out. I'll be with your dog, and supervising every move. Would love to help you out this Holiday season, and care for your special family member. This is just a sidenote, and with elderly Parents, they come first. I'm pretty sure your baby/babies will warm up quickly, and find a lap to sit on, without any problems. Happy Holidays. (See pic of Chance having lunch with my folks.) My claim to FAME is that when i lived in Los Angeles, I dog-sat/house-sat for Lionel Ritchie, Nicholas Cage and VP of Disney Thomas Schumacher. I've also traveled as far as Nashville to house/dog sit for a wonderful couple, who unfortunately had 2 wild dogs. One was a biter, and the other a lover...serious lover! I ate for 2 weeks with a 100lb dog on my lap kissing me. i worked with the "biter" for the entire 2 weeks. dawned on me that the "biter" was just serious about the job he signed up for.."WatchDog". Got him to relax a bit and she became the sweetest most loveable dog. When the couple returned home, they were thrilled. there was talk about re-homing her if she bite again..and hopefully now she knows shes safe, and can do her "job" without biting. I'm semi-retired and work from home, or computer. Which enables me to have a wide open schedule, for plenty of potty break and walks for your furry family member. I prefer to house-sit and stay in your home 24/7 until you return. I've found its less stressful for the animal, and they think its great fun to have "new" attention in THEIR home. They meet me, realize I'm their for them, and its treats and rubs till Mom and Dad return. Happy dogs. One of the reasons I started dog-sitting and house-sitting for pets, is that when it came time to find boarding for my own dogs (pet-less now). I ran across a boarding facility that had all the family pets dumped there, while the families vacationed for the Summer. Cement slabs and wire fencing around each "kennel". The workout room for exercise was 6x6. Caught one glimpse of someones family pet, looking like he was off to slaughter. He didn't know what to think, or knew when anyone was coming for him...saddest dog I've ever seen. Needless to say, left there in a hurry before i blew a gasket, or became a sobbing wreck. I hired someone to come in and stay at my home to take care of my dogs after that. UPDATE: Sadly, I need to amend my profile page for DOGS over 25 lbs. I can accommodate 25 lbs and under in my Apt/home, but anything over, would have to be house-sitting w Pet. I travel, and have strong recommendations for house-sitting services. Trust-worthy. I also think larger dogs that have a routine, are disrupted when moved to a Sitters home. I think the stress of the owner leaving him/her in the care of the Sitter is much better, when they have their own yard, bed, and familiar surroundings. Thank you to those who have contacted me with their big dogs. Hope i can care for your loved one soon.

Nick has been one of the best dog sitters I’ve had. I went out of the country for a week, and unfortunately my flight got cancelled. Nick was kind enough to watch the dogs an early day. He left the house cleaner than when I left. He is one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and I would highly recommend him. Thanks Nick!!

Nick is the best! I was impressed right from the start with our initial meeting - he knew exactly what to ask and gave Ringo an opportunity to sniff around his place. Ringo stayed with Nick over the 4th of July, so lots of fireworks and thunderstorms...Ringo’s least favorite things. Nick knew exactly how to comfort an anxious dog and has a lot of experience from watching other dogs. Ringo was right at home and it showed since he ate and slept well, I will absolutely use Nick again!

Nick is by far the best and first choice for our furry family members. Our beagles get loved and pampered extremely well. We also love knowing they get to stay in the comfort of their own home.

I have two dogs, ones a lover but the other hates people and is a biter. She doesn’t like anyone, not even me sometimes (shelter dog issues). Nick amazingly won her over quickly. I never worried and knew they were well taken care of while we were away.
