Pet care experience
I have owned and cared for a dog since I was in elementary school until the end of high school. Also, I have dog sat for my neighbor on many weekends for the last 8 years. I love every dog I’m lucky enough to spend time with because who couldn’t. I will also make sure to care for, love, and respect you and your dog. I graduated a year ago from Northwestern and moved into a house in Logan Square very close to Bucktown. I can make sure that the dogs I take care of receive more than enough attention because of my remote job setup. I am pretty much free any weekend. I am a good communicator and will work with you to make sure your dog gets the care it needs and deserves. I want to make sure your dog feels loved and I want you to know that your best friend is safe in my hands.

Information Nick L. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know the dog’s feeding schedule, potty schedule, and medication situation. I would also like to know how long the dog generally goes on its own at home in case I need to leave them for some reason. It would also be helpful to know what kind of walks they usually take (long/short and frequency), if they get along with other dogs, if they like a certain kind of treat or toy especially, if they have any sort of triggers to avoid, or if they have problems with steps because it takes a flight of stairs from the elevated porch in front to get to the main part of my home.
A typical day
There is a dog park about a 3-5 min walk from my home that I’m excited to take dogs I watch to if that is something they usually enjoy. I also like to explore the neighborhood on longer walks when the dog is up for it.
