Growing up my family always had at least one dog in the family. Currently we have 3 back home. As not only an animal lover, but also a veterinary student, I know just how important the human-animal bond is. That bond is something very special, as both the human and animal deeply benefit from one another. I have had big dogs and small dogs (German Shepherd will always be my favorite) along with a mini-Noah's Ark of other species (lizards, a parrot, fish, amphibians, and cats). Back home in NJ, since my parents are at work most of the day, they have had to get a walker for our dogs and it helps them out so much. I'd like to do the same for others!
