Work from home guy with a backyard!
Pet care experience
My first dog was a golden retriever named Molly - my family had her from when she was a puppy to the old age of 14. Now my parents have a goofy beagle named Murphy back in Minnesota. I moved to Boston in June of 2022, but I don’t currently have a dog due to my travel schedule. I am the go-to dog sitter for my friends and I’m also the friend that will greet your dog before you.
Reviews
Per usual Nick was awesome with Chai! Chai spent two nights with Nick, and she came home a tired happy pup! We’ll be back!!
Nick was awesome with Chai! She almost didn’t want to leave! From the communication to the photos, it made me very comfortable leaving Chai with Nick for the day. The multiple naps tells me she was in the right hands. Thanks Nick! We’ll definitely be back!
We're so glad to have found Nick! He has a gentle, responsible manner which made Mica comfortable right away. She was able to explore comfortably under Nick's watchful but trusting eye, and had a wonderful time, coming home happy and tired. Thank you, Nick!
Took good care of my lab.

I have a fenced-in backyard that is shared with my friends who have a Siberian Husky and an Alaskan Malamute (both friendly). Your dog(s) can meet or not meet them depending on your preference! My unit in my house is one level with a 3-season porch leading to the yard. Crates or no crates welcome. Front door and back door/backyard are both covered by security cameras.
Home
Information Nick H. would like to know about your pet
Feeding and bathroom schedules are important to know. Any behaviors you wouldn’t allow at home that I shouldn’t allow. (Begging for food, laying on the furniture, barking, etc.) Dogs must be friendly to people - no aggressive dogs allowed. Nervous/anxious dogs allowed with proper warning/preparation. They must be house-trained!
A typical day
I am typically on video calls 1/4-1/2 of the workday, but all other times I am available to take them outside in the backyard, play with them or take a walk through the park across the street from my house.

Availability
I work from home full-time during the week. (It’s nice having a dog around to hang out with.) I’ll leave the house to run errands or hang out with friends, but I’m pretty consistently around the house.
