Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a toddler. Growing up around animals, I’m very experienced with caring for everything from dogs to cats to livestock to leopard geckos! I’m experienced with all types of dog harnesses and have taken classes on breaking up dog fights. I’m particularly fond of large dog breeds like Great Pyrenees and pit bulls and senior animals; I have my own 19 year old Domestic Shorthair named Pepper who requires daily medication administrations, so I’m very comfortable with animals requiring special care or senior animals. Thank you for entrusting me with your loved one!

I approach every new animal with respect and gentleness. Every pet is unique and it’s important to start slow and build trust with an animal. With dog walking, i always exercise the utmost caution; a dog is never off leash, and I communicate with the owner to make sure the dog is ok interacting with other dogs during the walk. For cat-sitting, I maintain constant communication with the owner and send photos as much as possible. Cats’ personalities vary so much, so if the cat doesn’t want to socialize and needs space / only needs its food and water, i’m ok with that!

Let me know if your dog is socialized around other dogs and if it ever gets aggressive. I’m comfortable with animals with dogs with anxiety and trauma (my past clients include rescue pit bulls), so an honest conversation beforehand with the owner is key.

- Entertaining with their usual toys and treats - Walks, long or short - Open to grooming / hair maintenance if needed from owner as well!

Availability
I am currently available for dog walking on weekends and drop-ins/ house sitting for cats during the week. I usually don’t accept more than one animal at a time so i can devote my energy and care as much as possible!
