Hello! My name is Nick and I am here to provide a reliable dog caretaker/sitter for those in the Colorado Springs area. Growing up with two dogs (an energetic yellow lab and a sweet as-can-be beagle), I've always loved dogs and appreciate the role they play in our lives. I operate under the belief that the world is a much better place with happy dogs, and that has driven me to pursue a part-time (or even full-time) gig taking care of four-legged friends! I don't have a ton of experience outside of taking care of my own pets, but while recently living in Bellingham, Washington, I had the opportunity to provide care for my housemate's energetic blue heeler puppy, who was only four or five months old at the time we lived together. I took the pup running/hiking multiple times a week and often looked after him for multiple days at a time while his owner was away. I loved every moment I spent with him, and I've long understood how much having dogs in my life benefits me on a personal level. Today, I have the pleasure of owning my own Rat Terrier mix pup named Milo (see pictures). I also have other experience with dog walking and overnight stays, including feeding pets and giving them any medications. That's what brought me to Rover, with the goal of providing attentive care for clients dog(s) while they are away. I can provide drop-in visits during the day or an overnight sitter in your home. I look forward to helping the area's dogs happy and healthy!
