Your Dog's Luxury Home Away from Home! Your dog will get the loving attention of 2 people. Our experience: We have owned a few dogs together. In addition, Bonny volunteered as a dog walker at the animal shelter and Nick had dogs as a kid. We’ve watched friends’ and neighbors’ dogs. We did training classes with our previous dogs, so we have experience with basic obedience and leadership skills. We currently have one dog, a well-behaved and friendly 50 lb mixed breed named Rolo. We can administer medication and will do our best to cater to special needs or requests. We love dogs and doting on them! We take their well-being seriously and will make them as happy and comfortable as possible while they are in our care.

Fantastic hosts. Our do can have some separation anxiety when we go out of town, but she warmed up to Nick and Bonny immediately. Some of the best hosts we’ve had!
Nick and Bonny are the BEST! They take Woody along for hikes and outings, and he clearly has a blast. Gives us big peace of mind knowing he’s well cared for when we’re away.

Our house has central air and heat, plus a large fenced in yard accessible through a patio door and doggy door. Our neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Living right next to Forest Park, there are many trails nearby. We have a back porch that gets sun all day; many dogs love sunning out there.

Please let us know how your dog is with other dogs, on and off leash. If your dog is reactive, we can walk them during low traffic times to reduce risk of triggers. We’d also like to know if your dog has any special needs or any sort of behavioral issues prior to booking. All dogs must be house-trained and socialized. If your dog needs a slow introduction to other dogs, we can accommodate that. If you think your dog barks excessively, we may not be a good match for you. If you prefer your dog to use a crate when sleeping or for downtime, please bring it with you.
A typical day
We have lots of trails near our house and love to go hiking with dogs. We also love to cuddle on the couch with dogs at the end of the day— but if you do not want your dogs on furniture, let us know and we will always follow your wishes.

Availability
We take the dog for 2-3 walks each day. We also love to hike, so we often take the dog for a hike on the weekend. The dog is also free to roam around in the fenced in yard anytime throughout the day.
