I have two very well-behaved and friendly dogs (Motive and Bodhi) who love to make new friends. Each dog has its own special personality, and I love to get to know them and work with them to assimilate into our pack. In training my dogs, I am very affectionate and utilize positive reinforcement, but I also believe in following rules, so let me know what your dog knows, so I can stick to their usual commands. I think it's important to allow the dogs to explore a little on their walks. I always take mine on different routes, so they can smell knew smells, see new sights, and hear new sounds! A tired dog is a happy dog. I have no kids and my dogs have free rein over my house and yard with the exception to my furniture and bed. I have several dog beds available, and a fold up human bed, that I bring out, so they can all sleep together if they wish! I love trying new things, and I am not afraid to be a total nerd with dogs. I'm happy to get on their level. I play "floor time" with my two pups where I just lay down on the floor and let them investigate what I'm doing.
