Pet care experience
I grew up around dozens of cats, and both large and small breed dogs. All of my family are pet owners, so I have been pet sitting since I was able to drive my own car. I’ve also worked in a humane society for over a year as an animal care provider. This has given me an excellent understanding of animal body language, and how to present myself in a friendly way. I’ve handled dog breeds from 3lb. Teacup chis to 130lb bull mastiffs, and I’ve never met one I didn’t love.

Our kids are always happy to see Nick! He always leaves the house in perfect condition.
This was Nick’s second time watching our pups. They did so well with him again. He is kind and communicative. He even watered my garden for me, which was such a help! We really appreciate him and highly recommend him. We will continue to book him when we need a sitter.

I will provide all sorts of comfort and love to your pets while keeping them fully occupied and enriched. I will take them on walks, and work with basic training and obedience skills. I’ve worked with both high energy collies, to rumbly-stumbly blind staffys, so I don’t mind running around burning all that energy, or just lounging around snuggling.

Information Nick B. would like to know about your pet
I am a larger male so certain dogs can be put off by my presence. However, it may just take a prior meeting for them to get comfortable, in which case I’m happy to oblige. I do also ask, if possible, to keep a buffer so that I’m not meeting the dog directly at the front door. Beside that, my previous job was making friends with strange dogs so I am no stranger to making friends:)
A typical day
I usually start with a walk where I assess the dogs general behavior, obedience level, and reactivity. After which I will accompany with lots of enrichment work (playing with toys, nose-work, taking on more walks, and just cuddling with your little guys. For cats I will take the time necessary for them to be comfortable with me, and I will just take it at the cats pace. I have spent a hundreds of hours with hundreds of both cats and dogs and realize each is different and enjoys different activities.

I am able to provide care for your animals 24/7. My work schedule allows great flexibility, so your pets will always be prioritized. However, if anything were to come up, or I’m running a bit behind, I will be sure to communicate that with you.
