Pet care experience
I've always been an avid pet lover and have always prided myself in being able to connect with them intuitively. If I didn't have a husband, I'd be the lady with too many pet friends! I have over 5 years of professional veterinary experience, and I have had pets of my own since I was a young child. A life without a furry friend is a very lonely life indeed! You can expect your dog(s) to have as much outside bantering as their little heart's can muster during their stay. Our dogs, Duke and Daisy, will show them their hip playground in the pine woods on our five acres, and our loving family and children will keep them warm on the couch and in our beds should you need them to stay for an evening (or a few). We sure love our furry friends!

Nichole is just wonderful! I reached out to her at the very last minute with a doggy day care request and she was happy to accommodate my pup. My pup was overjoyed to see the animals on the farm and was dancing around, sniffing ducks and geese right away. Nichole was kind, gentle, and affectionate with Mackinac. I will be reaching out to her for boarding in the future and I highly recommend her. :)
Nichole was amazing and we couldn’t have picked someone better to watch our puppy. She went above and beyond what we expected. She was knowledge with animals and even noticed a tick and removed it from our puppy. She is responsive to messages, and even sent us updates throughout the day on our Australian shepherd Abby and pictures as well so we never had to worry. We live out of town but if we lived here permanently we would pick Nichole every single time to watch our baby. HIGHLY recommend her!

I would like to know if your pet is cat/dog/duck/chicken/child friendly. If not, we can potentially make the necessary arrangements to cater to your animal's needs during their stay. Does your animal have a biting history? Is your animal UTD on vaccinations? Being treated for fleas/ticks? Any bath/water aversions? Any anxieties like a fear of loud noises (like thunder)? Special diet/frequency of feedings? Food or fence aggression issues (we do have one neighbor)? Does your animal come when called, or will I need to keep them on a lead?
A typical day
We will take daily (multiple if needed) walks through our pine woods on our five acres to explore the many sights and sounds a forest has to offer. Ball chasing is a favorite of my pets, and they are happy to share their love of their balls! If Frisbees are their thing, we can do that too!
