Decades of experience caring for dogs. I grew up with a sweet golden retriever, helped raise several other animals throughout my life, and during the pandemic adopted my soul dog, a senior Italian greyhound chihuahua mix with special needs (who crossed the rainbow bridge in July 2022). Not quite ready to be a full time dog mom again, but because I've got so much love to give I quickly became "Little Italy's Dog Mom" caring for the pets of my neighbors and friends. I'm very attentive. Will gladly follow special feeding or care requirements for pets who are a little more particular than others. If needed, I'm happy to integrate housesitting tasks for longer trips. Will send photo and video updates and keep you informed on how your sweet pup is doing during our time together. Responsible. Excellent communicator. Stellar references. I'll work with you to make sure you feel comfortable, including a meet-and-greet prior to service and a thorough review of your pet's specific needs for care. Fully insured, bonded, and registered with the City of San Diego and San Diego County. As a bonus, I’ve done a little professional photography and will most likely send you adorable photos of your pet(s). 📸💕😊

It’s always hard to leave your dog in someone else’s hands but Nichole put us at ease from the moment we met her. She was very communicative, asked good questions and went above and beyond in taking care of Gio. She was also respectful of our home and left everything even nicer than she found it. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. She’s one of the best.
Nichole was a dream! We hope to use her next time we visit San Diego. She took care of our lab and our foster assistance-dog-in-training for four days and they loved her. They got a great tour of the city, were content and exhausted at the end of the day (while we worked on our sailing certification all day each day), and her photos were fabulous. Nichole was a great communicator, exceptionally responsible, trustworthy, intelligent, fun, thoughtful, and fit so the dogs ran out of energy before she did. I highly recommend entrusting Nichole with your fur babies.
Nichole was fantastic with our dog! She stayed at our home while we were out of town for a few days. Nichole sent plenty of photos, provided updates, and asked questions when needed. We could tell our dog was well-cared for and loved on while we were gone. We will definitely be using Nichole again in the future!
Nichole is great she went above and beyond to make sure our puppy was cared well for and kept up great communication! Can’t wait to have her visit Kona again in the future

Availability
I have a flexible schedule and always do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs. In addition to looking after pets, I spend around 10 hours each week doing remote e-commerce training/consulting (via zoom), so for overnight sits I usually bring my laptop so I can jump into the occasional client call. I have plenty of time and attention to give to your pet.
