Pet care experience
For my entire life, I have always had a dog in my life- growing up in Connecticut, dog sitting in college, and constantly visiting my parents’ dog while living/working in NYC. Whether I am walking it, playing with it, or cuddling with it, I enjoy every moment I get with a dog. My family had a black Labrador Retriever (Mugsie) for 15 years until she passed away 3 years ago. Shortly after her passing, we brought home a 6 week old white Labrador Retriever (Jetty). Having dealt with elderly dogs and puppies, I am aware of dogs' varying needs and habits.

I had a great experience working with Nicholas. He was easy to work with and my dogs were happy when I picked them up. I will certainly use his day-care services again!
Nick took care of my very energetic Vizsla puppy, Harris, for the week while I was at work. He did a great job! Harris seemed to get a lot of attention and was tired out when I picked him up every day, which was just what he (and I) needed!
While I have only known Nicholas Warkentin for about 2 years now, his love for dogs has really stood out to me. I’ve seen him interact with his own dog at home and I can honestly say that he is a dog whisperer. He will care for any dog, no matter the circumstances- and most importantly, he will enjoy it all. I highly recommend Nicholas to take care of anyone’s dog.

A typical day
I absolutely love playing with dogs and consider myself to be the favorite of my dog back home. Every time I come home, she always comes up to me with a ball and I could throw it to her for hours on end. In New York, I love walking on the West Side Highway and in Central Park.

My job in NYC is flexible with working from home so I am available and open to all forms of dog care. Certain days of the week, I may go into the office or may travel on the weekends, but I’ll be sure to update that in the calendar.
