Pet care experience
Ive taken care of shelter dogs for over a year, and currently work at a small vet clinic feeding, bathing, walking, and running doggy day care. Im also in the process of going back to school for canine behaviorist (dog training) to help further my understanding of dogs and dog behavior.

I have known Nicholas for over a year and have had the pleasure of working with him in a veterinary hospital setting. Nicholas is well-liked and respected by both staff and clients. He has a natural way with animals that makes them feel calm and comfortable. He is hard working and dependable. I would recommend him for a position at Rover.
Nick worked as a canine kennel technician in one of the hardest jobs I know, taking care of the abandoned and the abused dogs of Shelby Humane. Despite being a laborious and stressful job, I never saw Nick lose his love for the animals and he was one of the best employees I had the honor of supervising. Nick was often the first to arrive and the last to leave just so he could be sure that all the needs of the dogs had been met. Nick definitely does not let the clock decide when his work is done - he knows the work is done when the dogs are walked, fed, clean, and well loved. Reliable is also an understatement, as you could expect him to show up through snow or hail. His communication is always consistent and honest. Nick also fosters shy and misunderstood dogs, so he is patient and well-versed in free-free methods and positive reinforcement. You could not ask for a better human being to care for your animals while you are away, I highly recommend.
I would highly recommend Nicholas to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter and wants to have a kind, responsible, and knowledgeable person to care for their pets while they're away and be able to enjoy their time off without having to worry about their pets, as they would be in safe and very capable hands. He has experience with behavioral animals as well and will take the time to gain the animals trust. He is very patient and understanding to how any animals feelings are and will work with them in order for their time spent with his is a pleasant one.
