Pet care experience
I've loved and had animals since I was a kid and have been pet sitting for years before starting with Rover. I have multiple years of work studying pet care while working at a mom & pop pet store (An-Jan), I have worked with and taken care of puppies and kittens as well as elderly animals who require medicine.

As a long time owner of animals of all ages I am quite apt at managing rascally kitten and puppy energy and moving around the very large and lovable bigger dog breeds. I care for all animals as if they were my own, with the utmost love for their being and adorableness.

I'd prefer to know if your furry one has any special medical needs and potentially how anxious they get around new people. While I typically approach all new animals on the same level it's nice to know if yours might need a slightly slower adjustment or something of the sort.
A typical day
As an avid animal lover I look forward to getting to know each and every pet individually. Playing with them, making them feel comfortable, helping them get their exercise and explore the world are all things that every animal should experience, and it's how I take care of my own pets.

I'm a full-time caretaker for my two grandparents meaning I work from home and can quite easily leave the house most any time after setting them up for a bit.
