Nick is a long-time friend of mine and pet sitter for my blind cat named Shoe. To put it nicely, Shoe has some 'behavioral problems.' She is 11 years old, born blind and is easily spooked. Nick is SO patient and kind with her. He reads her kitty body language and knows when to give her space or how to gently approach. And honestly what sets him apart from other sitters I've had is that he goes above and beyond- he cleans around the food bowls and picks up the crumbs. Nick also helps his neighbor with her backyard ducks. Many times while we are on the phone or out to dinner Nick will have to leave in order to put the ducks in the coop. Bottom line, Nick is disciplined and can 100% be counted on- even if it is interrupting his plans. I also have witnessed Nick around many dogs. A friend of mine had an abandoned blind lab, an adopted pit and a couple small adopted mutts. Nick has great energy and knows how to handle even the difficult pets. He is a kind soul.
