Hello! My name is Nick and my wife’s name is Emily. We have been doing Rover since 2020 and both of us have been around pets our entire life: I grew up with cats when I was little, often watched over my brother’s Springer during college, and now Emily and I have two dogs - Ovi & Copper. Emily is equally used to pets: she always had dogs growing up, mostly spaniels! Our dogs are generally easy going and love to meet friends through Rover. Our dogs are allowed on all furniture and roam throughout the house and backyard during the day, so we have no problem doing the same with your pet and making them feel comfortable unless you have other rules at home! We would strongly prefer a meet & greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great match on both sides. Generally, we only allow 1 person’s dog(s) at a time to make sure it’s the best experience possible and to make sure there’s no stimulus-overload or opportunity for a new dog that does not mesh with your own. Pets are family to us and we try our best to make sure they are comfortable and you’re able to enjoy whatever trip or plans you have!
