I grew up with dogs and cats in my household until I moved away for college. Now that I have a family of my own, we only have a couple cats around the house, but I'd like to be around dogs a bit more than I am right now. I have lived with dogs a large portion of my life, and have taken care other people's pets throughout my adult life. My in-laws, my parents, and my sister all have dogs. I'm the one they typically go to when they need someone to stay over, or check on them.
