Hi there! My name is Nicholas, and I have been working with dogs since I was very young. I volunteered in a Veterinarian's office for close to 3 years, where I would care for the pets that would come in, and create a safe and comforting space for them. And of course, I have a dog of my own, Lexi! I have had her since she was 3 months old (she is 15 years old now). I am very attentive and understand dog/cat behaviors well. I have worked with many types of animals growing up and from my volunteer experiences. I love animals and I am very patient when it comes to letting a pet become comfortable with me.

Nick is an awesome pet caregiver. He has done multiple dog walks with my dachshund as well as dog boarding due to personal travels and Copen has always treated amazing, he gets extremely excited we he sees Nick so definitely a piece of mind when it comes to needing car. 100% recommended!!
I have known Nicholas for many years and he has taken care of my cat and dog a few times I had to leave town for work. He has always been great to my pets and spoils them! They are always so excited to see him when he comes over to visit.

Some important information I like to know before accepting an appointment is 1 - any special medication your dog needs to take and how you typically administer it, 2 - the temperament of your pet and if it is aggressive or friendly towards people or other dogs, and 3 - any dietary restrictions because I like to reward your pets after walks and house visits with treats!
A typical day
I will typically take dogs for walks where they feel comfortable. If the owner lives in a neighborhood with walking paths or grass fields, I will typically take the dogs I walk there. If not, there are some great spots in Sunrise I usually take my dogs to walk. If a dog is more active and likes to run, I will typically go on a run or a bike ride with the dog I am taking care of. I also like to carry around treats for the pets as well!

Availability
I currently work full-time in an office, so I can come and walk/pet sit early in the mornings or later in the afternoon when I get off work. On the weekends and holidays I am very flexible, so I can make anytime work.
