Pet care experience
Both me and Tim are experienced dog owners with Tim having multiple dogs up to senior age and I had my dog from a puppy which I trained from 8 weeks old. We have recently adopted a Brussels Griffon named Mabel. She is two and a half and a really loving and sweet girl that is great with other dogs. I have had my cat Sid since he was a kitten and is now 15 and had my previous childhood cat up till she was 21. We have two rabbits which I rescued from a bad situation and I have experience with small animals going back to childhood including Guinea pigs and mice and hamsters. I have experience dog walking for friends and have previously fostered a corn snake. We love going on dog walks and have Hillsborough Park in walking distance and only a short drive to the Peak District. Your pet will be treated as if it’s our own and we will send regular updates and photos so you can see your pooch having a lovely time in their holiday home!

Nichola fed and looked after our cat Boysie for 9 days. We were sent updates and photos everyday which was brilliant which really put us at ease knowing he was well cared for and happy! We definitely hope Nichola will look after Boysie in the near future as she took great care in looking after him. We will be definitely be booking with Nichola again . As always, Teddy loved staying with Nichola, Mabel & Sid. Lots of regular updates and Teddy & Mabel became best friends. He can’t wait for his next visit!
Nichola is great, keeps me up to date with Bruno and how he’s doing, always makes sure he has a good walk and lots of cuddles xx

I have a secure back garden and dogs would have full access around our house. I can crate your dog if that is preferable to you and will stick fully to your routine and training/walking requirements. I drive so can offer pick up and drop off if needed. Sid the cat is dog friendly and spends most of the time in the garden.

A typical day
We love playing and going on walks! Will make sure your dog is stimulated throughout the day so they don’t get bored and will have full access to the garden for toilet breaks. Toys can be provided or you can bring your own. In the evening we will go for a nice longer walk in the local park or the Peak District depending on the weather, followed by playtime and cuddles. At weekends we can plan a dog friendly day out.

I am in and out throughout the day working for a homeless charity - some days I’m also working from home so there would never be more than a few hours at a time when I wouldn’t be at home with your pet.
