Pet care experience
I have always been obsessed with dogs from since I can remember and we got a family dog of our our just over 2 years ago. Murphy (the cocker spaniel) is now such a loveable member for our family! He loves long walks in the park/ forests. I grew up having hamsters. And would often look after family and friends dogs for them. Since moving to Norwich for work (and out of my family home) I’m missing constantly living with my furry friend. I go back as much as I can to visit him but I thought why not combine a love of mine to care for some more furry friends! I work as a youth mental health worker so I have full DBS and I drive!

Niamh often takes care of my dogs when I go on holiday or am away and does a wonderful job looking after them, walking and feeding them. She is such a lovely, kind and caring person which is why I would always trust her with my pets and know that she looks after them well and enjoys doing it. Niamh has always loved animals and has the cutest cocker spaniel herself called Murphy.
Niamh would be amazing for this role as she has such a love for dogs. She has cared for my dog in the past as a favour and my dog couldn’t have been happier. She enjoys taking care of dogs. She has walked, washed and looked after my dog over night. She is very attentive and I always feel so happy to leave my dog with her.

A typical day
I tend to like to stimulate the dogs I look after both physically and mentally. Such as taking them on walks in environments their owners are happy with such as dog parks, and forests. Enjoying the outdoors with pets that have garden facilities too. Then I will play games with them such as ball games (if they like them). Or mentally stimulation through teaching them tricks the owners are happy with. Or puzzle games were they have to work out a way to get the rewards.

Availability
I am available for boarding, walks and check ins on weekends (Friday to Sunday). Mondays I work from home so I can do drop ins or walks in my lunch break. I can also do any evenings from 5:30pm.
