Pet care experience
Hey! Thanks for checking me out. I’ve owned and successfully cared for a wide range of animals including dogs, cats, horses and reptiles since a young age. I’m not able to keep pets currently so would love to spend time with some furry friends! I know basic animal first aid and also have experience with basic training - my own dog Oscar, a lab, loves learning new tricks! I pride myself in making sure animals I care for are relaxed, happy and safe, and also receiving the correct mental stimulation and enrichment which is super important to keep them healthy - a mixture of active play (like fetch or frisbee for dogs, or chase toys for cats) and puzzle solving (like following scents or finding hidden objects.) I also have experience with older dogs and understand their need for increased peace, reassurance, a slower pace and toilet breaks! I offer drop-ins and walks, helping you care for your family members in their own homes while you’re busy, giving you peace of mind they’re doing well and keeping them active and entertained!

Niamh has looked after our dog (Riley) in the past and was always very reliable. She listened and took instructions and we had no phone calls while we were away regarding the care of the dog. Riley loved her and was a lot happier when we returned than when we leave him in kennels. Definitely will be using Niamh again.
I have known Niamh all her life. I can confirm that she is an honest, calm, conscientious and reliable person. She loves all animals especially dogs, cats and horses and has taken care of these animals for a number of years - since she was quite young. She has proven to me that she is loving and caring towards them while treating them with respect and being sensitive to their needs. I know Niamh has also volunteered for the National Trust and has won Volunteer of the Year. This award was given to Niamh because she demonstrated that she was extremely dependable, was fastidious in all that she did and was a very hard worker. I have owned dogs all my life and have no problem letting Niamh look after them, even on an extended basis because I am confident they are in safe hands.
Niamh would be great as a dog sitter. As a family friend I have know her from a young age and she has always had a natural ability with animals. She grew up having a dog in the house and she has also always been interested in horses - over the past few years she has had her own horse. She is trustworthy and I know she volunteered for the National Trust every week during her gap year where she was nominated for and won Young Volunteer awards. Niamh also volunteered with Riding for the Disabled each week. I would be more than happy to have her come into my home to look after my pets.
