Tommy and I are engineers by day and pet lovers by night. We would like to take advantage of this WFH opportunity to meet other adorable puppers (or in my case, to mentally prepare Tommy for a second dog in the near future). All of the profits made from Rover will be donated to a shelter/rescue (considering Safe Hands Rescue because that's where we got Finn from). We both grew up with chihuahua and border collies and have looked after friends' dogs a couple of times so we're used to taking care of dogs up to 60 lbs. Our condo is dog-proofed and we only use pet-friendly and eco-friendly products to ensure the safety of everyone. We live on the second floor so your dog must be comfortable with stairs. Finn is allowed on furniture and sleeps on the bed with us at night but we will stick to whatever rules you establish for yours. We do share the building with 3 others and we have meetings throughout the workday so we, unfortunately, can't take in dogs that bark a lot. When your dog stays with us, rest assured that he/she will receive plenty of love, attention, exercises, and will never be left alone. We're pretty active individuals, or at least that's what we like to think we are. We do 3 long walks a day and we're frequent at the lakes during the weekdays and like to explore different trails on the weekend. In the summer, we often go for a night run at least 3 times a week. We also do different tricks, interactive games, hide and seek pretty much every day to engage Finn mentally. Also, expect tons of updates. I'm one of those "paranoid" pet parents who always want updates from the sitter every minute after I drop Finn off. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
