I've cared for and lived with cats for the better part of 10 years. I have experience with personalities from needy to aloof and pay close attention to their body language so your cat will have as much cuddling or personal space as they need. I have been told many times "my cat usually never gets along with people this quickly." I also previously had an FIV+ cat so I have had to administer liquid medications regularly.

Nev took good care of my dog Maxine during drop in visits over 4th of July weekend. Communication was great (texts, photos) as was reliability.
Nev was very patient and gentle with our sensitive, older dog. Nev took time seeing what kind of attention our dog liked and building trust. Nev was very consistent letting me know when our dog's appetite changed. Nev seemed to understand and like our dog even though our dog does not handle change easily.
Nev W. cancelled a booking after the stay began.

On walks I always default to following the dog's lead when it comes to location and pace. When pet sitting or dropping in at the home, I spend plenty of quality time with them giving pets, paying attention to their mood and eating habits, and making sure they're not getting into trouble. I can take as many update videos/photos as you request, I appreciate being messaged any time you have a concern or just want to see your animal.

I appreciate being fully informed about pets' food portions and timing, medications, health conditions, preferred vets, known training/commands, anxiety triggers, and any other parts of their routine such as walk routes or treats.
A typical day
I like to make use of whatever toys are in a pet's space and keep them mentally engaged (when house sitting or dropping in), and make sure to give positive feedback when they are well-behaved. If an animal is nervous I will always respect their space and pay attention to body language, and if I have to spend a little extra time to make sure they trust me and don't stress, that's fine with me.
