I truly believe that dogs are our best friends, and the unconditional love they give us can not be bought. I have a life-long history of being a dog owner of many different breeds. I believe in consistency and appropriate energy to gain the animal's respect and adoration. I also believe in providing a safe and nurturing environment for the pet to feel less anxiety about having a new person walk into their environment. I have a difficult high strung 5-year-old dog, that I have been able to train and be aware of his triggers so that we can minimize some of his maladaptive behaviors. He has taught me loads of patience and to be observant of outside variables that can also be affecting his behavior.
