- Availability for bookings - (Note: As I am a college student, the following hours are subject to change every semester. Additionally, travel time impacts whether or not I’ll be able to take your booking) Until further notice, I am not working through Rover; however, I want to keep my account up both for the testimonials and in the event that I relocate somewhere more conducive to dog walking. - Bio - Hi! My name is Ness. I’m a student at Lesley University, and I love pets. Since I was seven, I’ve helped to take care of my late, great Buster. At thirteen, I began to work pet-sitting jobs around my small Connecticut neighborhood, including overnight care, walks, cleanings, and feedings (while dog owners were definitely my primary customers, I’ve also worked with cats and rabbits). Currently, I spend my holiday breaks adventuring with my wonderful fur baby, Pippi! There have been few things more rewarding to me than the greeting of a wagging tail or happy puppy smile. The transition into college took me far away from my usual clients and my own pup, but I’m so excited to meet the pets of the Boston area! During holidays and summers, I will be returning to Connecticut.

Ness is a wonderful, kind, responsive sitter, and we absolutely loved getting such richly detailed updates. We have no doubt our two playful young cats had such fun during their drop-in visits while we were away. Would recommend unhesitatingly and hope Ness will sit for us again in the future!
Ness did a great job of meeting my pup and making sure she was comfortable before heading out on a walk. She left a very detailed review of her activities and Java had a blast. I definitely recommend Ness to anyone looking for a compassionate and professional dog lover to care for their precious pooch.
Ness did a fantastic job with my reticent pup! Pepper was a bit tough but Ness managed to turn it around with some form commands and Pepper rose to the occasion. They had a great walk and lots of play and affection. I will call on Ness again!

If I'm caring for your furry family member, I’d love to know how energetic they can be and how rigorous of a walk they can handle. I tend to use a jog as a default, so if they want something a little slower, just let me know! I’d also like to know what commands you use with your pet and what their potential stressors are. In the event of a drop-in visit, I would love to schedule a meet-and-greet, just to make sure they're okay with my presence in their territory. It's also a great way for me to get an idea of who your pet is and learn what their ideal schedule would be!
A typical day
We can walk just about anywhere- Cambridge Common, Harvard Square, Davis Square... whatever environment your pet decides! I’m partial to park adventures, but if your fur-baby wants to explore the neighborhood, that’s fine too! I tend to give lots of head scratches and belly rubs while I work on the Rover card, but if your pet would rather play, then tug-of-war and fetch are a must! Above all, I’m here to give your pet a stellar day!
