Hi there! My name is Nerissa and I look forward to getting to know your best friend! I understand how deeply cherished a pup can be. They are family and I welcome them into mine :) Throughout their stay, I will keep you updated with many photos and videos and am available to contact 24/7. I have many years of experience. From owning, sitting, fostering, volunteering, and now working with dogs, I have gained an immense understanding of dog behavior. Growing up, my first experience with a dog was with my neighbors collie, Cindy. Growing up in a rural area without any other kids my own age, Cindy was my best friend. I sat her often and spent many days roaming the neighborhood together. In recent years, we had to say goodbye to our sweet girl, Tika. Through grief and in her honor, we contacted Grateful Friends Animal Rescue and decided to foster. It has been a truly rewarding experience. In 2023, we adopted our not so mini poodle, Alfred, and continue to foster when we can.

I was very happy that Nerissa was able to take my pups for a walk for an entire week! She is really reliable, rain or shine! It was obvious on the photos that the pups had so much fun which brought a lot of comfort to me while I was away. I was extremely busy during the time I was away and I really appreciated that she took the initiative to check in on me and gave me more updates on top of the report card. I would definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!
Nerissa is absolutely fantastic! She was very communicative, on time, reliable and wonderful with my giant, working breed dog. This was my first time having someone else walk him, and she put my mind right at ease. Would 100% have her back to walk my boy.

My home is your home. I will follow what’s expected in your home into mine. I have a fenced backyard ready to be zoomied in! Your pup will have as much freedom as you are comfortable with. This is their staycation and we want them to have the best time!
Pets
A typical day
We will have lots of fun! I will cater to your pups needs. Walks, playtime, sunbaths on the deck, backyard exploration, belly rubs.. etc. I will provide all the snuggles they wish for and care for your pup as my own. We have a neighbour down the street who has three dogs and a big fenced yard. Our ‘mini dog park’. If your pup is up for it, we can visit for a little extra doggy play.
