Pet care experience
I was raised a dog person through and through. I spent many of my afternoons growing up caring for our miniature schnauzer and recently helped a former roommate train his amazing German shepherd (shout-out to Roscoe). My wife and I unfortunately don't have any dogs of our own though (we aren't able to have any pets in our apartment), but we would love the opportunity to care for yours!

Nelson was very thorough in communicating and feeding my cats while I was on a trip. He sent photos of all the tasks he did. (I'm not sure if he ever saw the cats other than a photo from the window).

We just got a puppy recently and needed someone to stop by and walk her while we were gone. Nelson and Heather stopped by to meet her and the cats and I felt so confident while I was traveling. They sent a incredibly helpful summary of the walk and I know Zoey was in heaven!

We are unfortunately unable to have pets in our apartment, but follow the guidelines given to us by the owner and understand that consistency and love make for a happy pet and a happy owner. For example, when living with my roommate, I would be sure to follow his training techniques in order to help him and Roscoe (his German shepherd) grow in healthy ways.

I think it's very important for me as the sitter to know how a dog reacts to other people, particularly strangers, and other dogs. I want the dog I'm entrusted with to feel safe and comfortable wherever we are, and I want to know if there are things or situations that may be triggering to them, I'll do my best to avoid those. It's also important to know the pet's routines and work with those well.
A typical day
Again, I'm all about consistency with any animal I watch. If they have activity routines, places, and toys they are comfortable with, I do my step into that space with them so they feel safe. This translates into walks around the local neighborhood or parks if they are close enough given the time frame. If the

I am a freelance video producer and editor who primarily works from home. My wife also works from home and we have plenty of time throughout the week to spend with your dog or cat 👍 I am free most mornings, afternoons, and evenings during the week and weekends given enough notice and am flexible with what works best for you.
