Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my entire life and lived with many. I don’t currently have my own as he passed two years ago, but I live with other dogs and care for my family’s pets as well. I am used to animals of all breeds and sizes, and love being around them. I work from home and enjoy having a break from sitting at the desk. Working from home also can make house-sitting easier as I can be more flexible to suit your pet’s needs!

Nelly was the perfect dogsitter for our pups! She was very attentive and sent pictures, as well as updates regularly. She exercised our dogs and kept great care of the house as well. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better dogsitter! Whenever we go out of town Nelly will be first on our list.

Nelly was an amazing walker for the few days we ended up needing her. Very communicative about when she would be arriving. Detailed reports with pictures every time. My SO's trip got cut short unexpectedly and Nelly was willing to get Rover to refund our remaining cost without us even asking her to. She had a key to our apartment for a few days and met Noah without us there and nothing could have gone better. Hire Nelly for your next walking needs!!!

I find it helpful to know how they respond to other dogs/ animals when outside the home so I know what to expect. Though as a rule, I don't generally introduce pets on leashes. I also want to know what they enjoy doing, and whether they have specific notifications for having to potty etc. As to breeds, I love them all :)
A typical day
I like taking nature walks, but am fine walking around the neighborhood too. Some dogs do better with familiarity, while others could enjoy the change of scenery. I am accustomed to playing fetch with toys and frisbees and enjoy some light hearted play time in the home with chew toys. I also enjoy cuddling with any pets that will let me.
