Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Nellie, and I moved to Montreal from Vermont, USA to study at Concordia University. I miss taking my dog for walks and hikes, and have never not had animals in my life. I got my first dog, Charlie, when I was 9. I grew up going to shelters and taking care of foster dogs with my neighbors. I have house and pet sit overnight for the past three years, up to two weeks at a time taking care of various kinds of dogs, cats and even chickens! I assure they get plenty of walks, play time, and company. I love dogs that are energetic and curious, but I also have spent time with older, more mellow dogs. My schedule is flexible and I can easily access the Plateau, Old Port, and Downtown. I am new to Rover, but not new to caring for pets. Don't hesitate to reach out!

Nellie took great care of our high energy dog Gin, and was very responsive and flexible. I was able to enjoy my day out of town knowing that Gin was having fun and well taken care of. I totally recommend her!

A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks, I specifically live very close to the Mont Royal park and go there often, which is a great place for a longer walk! I enjoy walking around quieter neighborhood streets as well.

I am currently an undergrad student, and I have classes downtown on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I have the most availability on the weekends Thursday-Sunday.
