Pet care experience
My passion and love for animals originally inspired me to become a pet sitter, and it has been a very rewarding experience! I just love taking care of animals of all kinds. Taking a new pup into the household is always a real treat, and I always enjoy going above and beyond to make pups feel right at home with me and my family! I currently have two Puggles, a Beagle, and a cat that all love to meet new friends, so your pooch will feel right at home with us. Your pup will always be treated like a member of the family! I offer a wide range of services, from walking to sitting to boarding. I can even work with other animals as well, and offer my services for cats, dogs, fishes, and turtles as well! I have worked with many pet services before and have a great deal of experience taking care of animals, so your pup will be in good hands no matter what. I have experience administering medication and shots to dogs and know animal CPR as wel. Additionally, I offer dog washing services if you want your pup to get nice and clean! I work in tandem with my partner, so your pup will have a team of animal lovers to make sure they are doing great. I do like to schedule a meet-and-greet when taking on new clients, as it’s a great opportunity for us to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another. It’s also a good chance for me to have an in-person conversation about your expectations and how to offer the best care possible about your pup. Since I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, I don’t have any breed restrictions or preferences, so all pups are welcome by me!

We have used Neil twice now, and have been beyond pleased! We have two large dogs, one of whom can be a bit challenging. Neil clearly has a way with dogs, as he never seems to have a problem! Both time we have come back to happy and well cared for dogs. 10/10 would recommend.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
I believe that the best way to keep a pup happy is to keep them healthy, so we’ll make sure to get plenty of exercise in during our time together. There is a great dog park nearby that is perfect for meeting some new friends and getting some off-leash time in, so we’ll make sure to head there as frequently as possible. Additionally, we’ll try to get as many walks in as we can to big open areas where we can play fetch and run around to our heart’s content. I’m also happy to work with pups that are a bit less energetic and cuddle with them or watch TV on the couch together! There’s just nothing like catching up on some Netflix with a furry cuddle buddy next to you.
