Leaving your fur baby is not easy. I’m here to make such experience less angst-inducing. Whether it’s leaving for a relatively short period or an longer trip, I’m here to put you at ease that your pet (and home) is in good hands. I've had dogs and cats in my household since I was little. Prior to moving away from my parents, we had a couple Cocker Spaniels, followed by a couple King Charles Cavalier Spaniels, and a sassy tabby cat. In my adult life, I have dog and cat sat (and house sat) for many friends and acquaintances. Four years ago, I adopted Louie, the most picture perfect exotic shorthair cat. A year plus ago, I began co-parenting a sweet, yet rambunctious, Rottweiler/Blue Heeler mix. BENNY!! Since then, my life has been nothing but the dog park (Esprit Park is my usual stomping grounds), Bernal Hill or Point Isabelle hikes/runs/walks, and long neighborhood walks. This reignited passion pushed me to join Rover. And since being part of this community my heart has only expanded. I've dealt with all types of dogs - old dogs, young dogs, hyper dogs, lazy dogs, not-so-social dogs, social dogs, and dogs that think that they're human. I have a lot of patience and not much can scare me away. I have actively mitigated dog escalations at the park and on street. I know how to navigate that world (with other owners and other dogs). I have even dog sat for 1 household with 5 dogs & 1 cat. I'm a huge advocate for exercise and fitness for pets so if you leave your dog with me, I guarantee that we will be going on long walks and playing outside. If that's not their thing, I am more than happy to stay home and snuggle. My patience extends into the feline variety, where I am more than happy to figure out your kitty's needs and quirks to keep them comfortable while their human is gone. Let me be your temporary hooman!
