Pet care experience
I'm a full-time attorney, but also a full-time dog lover! I have a five year old golden retriever who I single-handedly trained. Now he knows nearly 20 commands! I’ve done hours upon hours of research on dogs - including their socialization needs and how to train them - simply because I enjoy it. I've loved raising my dog, and would absolutely love to walk or care for your dog, whether through an overnight stay or drop-in visit. Neethu is very warm, knowledgeable, and reliable. She was great with our cats! You can tell she loves all animals and truly enjoys caring for them.
Neethu has walked and cared for our Bernese Mountain Dog (named Hippo) many times over the years! Hippo can be an anxious pup in certain situations but Neethu’s calm demeanor and endless patience makes him feel right at home with her. She has had a huge positive impact on his on-leash pulling tendencies because of her experience with other large dogs and her focus on consistent, positive reinforcement - he loves hanging out with Neethu!
Neethu is a dedicated, thoughtful, observant, and loving caregiver. She loves animals dearly, but she’s particularly fond of dogs. Her genuine appreciation of dogs, and her general diligence and kindness, makes her an excellent pet sitter.

I absolutely love nurturing and caring for dogs. Our dog gets two walks a day. I also usually take him to the dog park about 3-4 times a week so that he is appropriately socialized and is able to get his energy out, and am happy to take your dog as well (but only if you'd like me to)! I’ll make sure to send you lots of photos too :)

A typical day
My dog and I love playing fetch and tug of war together, usually after a walk or after dinner. We also love taking very long walks -- 3 miles or more -- so if your dog needs that long of a walk, I'm happy to provide it!

Availability
I typically walk my dog in the afternoon. I would walk your dog with mine or separately--whatever you and your dog prefer. I'd also love for your dog to play with mine, so long as you are comfortable with that.
