When I was born, my mom and dad already had a rat terrier. So I grew up around a pretty energetic dog. After he passed away we got a shih tzu. The only way I can describe him was a cat-dog. He was basically like having and caring for a cat. He was my best friend and I loved him. During the time we had him, me and my brother got bunnies- cared for, loved on, and absolutely adored them. After a few years they passed away, and my brother and I got two guinea pigs. One of which is still hanging around to this day. Probably should not still be alive considering we got them when I was in middle school. My family and I have just had a habit of taking too good of care of our animals and they live way past their lifespan haha. I had numerous fish growing up as well, one of which lived 7 years. It was a beta. His water froze one time during the winter and our heat went out. I used a blow dryer on it and he lived a few more years. Now, I currently have a soft-coated wheaten terrier and a hedgehog. Those are all of my animals. I also have a lot of experience pet-sitting other people's pets. I have pet-sat so many different kinds of dogs. Big dogs, small dogs, lazy dogs, energetic dogs. I am a nanny and the family has two big energetic dogs and two cats that I take care of as well. I also have pet-sat a pig, bird, and turtle. Growing up, my family was the type to see a hurt animal and nurse it back to health and release it. We did that with squirrels, rabbits, turtles, really anything we could get our hands on. I love working with all animals and would love to help anyone out!
