Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my own dog since she was baby till now and she’s 14 and my bigger dog since he was three weeks and he is almost 4. I use to volunteer at a shelter once a week in Long Island for a long time. I want to volunteer again but also help other dog parents so I figured Rover would be great! I use to dog sit my dog nieces and Nephews which were a lot of different types of dogs ! yorkies to German shepherds. I work remote in social worker so I do everything with compassion. My dream would be to foster a bunch of dogs on a giant farm. I love love love taking dogs for walks!! I trained both my dogs in my own and believe training can be so rewarding. I can work remote I just need my laptop and can watch the dog. I know the anxiety of a dog being home alone, as a dog parent it worried me a lot and it means the world to me and I always make sure my dogs are loved. With tons of experience in walking dogs, taking care of dogs at home and in shelters I’m happy to help you with yours :)! If you need any references please let me know :)

I train myself in dog CPR and watch videos often on what’s safe for animals. I have my own fenced in yard that is dog proof. I make sure my dogs are collared and safe and remember all safety rules for walking dogs on leashes. I would always consider safety with walking and eating making sure the fences are all closed and latched properly.

A typical day
I love to do fun activities with dogs that are stimulating, such as playing outside with safe toys. Doing other activities to keep their mind active training with treats. I love find a nearby parks that allow dogs to walk around with the dog to let them sniff around while still of course on the leash. I love to also walk the dog around their Neighborhood as they are used to the same route often.

Availability
I work remote and travel to see my clients once a month so I have a lot of time to do work at home! :) instead of hanging out at coffee shops or libraries I can help watch your dog and take them for a walk or let them out to the bathroom :)
