Local, loving pet care
Pet care experience
My love for dogs started when I adopted a labrodor for my mother. I have taken care of dogs for the last 8 years. I have very good memories of that time before I moved for my job. I used walk, and feed and bathe him! Taking him to the vet and playing with him, tummy rubs & brushing him. I enjoyed spending time and sharing love and care! I have not done this professionally though. This was my personal experience & if given an opportunity I would treat your pet as mine with all the love & care. Thanks!

Can’t say enough about how great Naveen P was with Elvis :) This was the 2nd time leaving Elvis alone and I was hesitant to have anyone new look after him. Naveen warmth and love of animals was apparent from our first meeting. He was the best dogsitter I could ask for. He gained my dogs trust within a couple of minutes. He also kept me in the loop about everything going on. I do not have any hesitation in asking him to look after any animals I own. . Triple A rating :) Awesome, Amazing and Approachable!!
I had a very pleasant experience leaving my Oscar with Naveen. Has updated me with pictures.

Information Naveen P. would like to know about your pet
knowing important details about the pets ahead of time is crucial for providing the best care possible. Here are some key factors I would want to know about each pet before watching them: Medical History: Any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or medications the pet may require. This information ensures that I can provide appropriate care and respond effectively in case of emergencies. Behavioral Traits: Understanding the pet's personality, temperament, and any behavioral quirks is essential for creating a positive and stress-free environment. This includes their comfort level with other animals, reaction to strangers, and any specific triggers or fears they may have. Daily Routine: Knowing the pet's regular schedule for meals, walks, and bathroom breaks helps maintain continuity and minimize disruption to their routine. Consistency is key to keeping pets happy and comfortable. Dietary Preferences: Information about the pet's diet, including preferred food brands, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions, ensures they receive the proper nutrition during their stay. Exercise Needs: Understanding the pet's activity level and exercise requirements helps me plan appropriate activities to keep them physically and mentally stimulated. Training and Commands: Any training commands or cues the pet responds to can facilitate communication and reinforce positive behaviors during their stay. Likes and Dislikes: Knowing the pet's favorite toys, games, treats, and activities allows me to tailor their experience to their preferences and provide enriching experiences they'll enjoy. Emergency Contacts: Having contact information for the pet's owner, as well as their veterinarian, ensures that I can quickly reach out in case of any questions, concerns, or emergencies. By gathering this information ahead of time, I can ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both the pets and their owners during their time under my care.
A typical day
Morning Walks: I start the day with some fresh air and exercise for the pets. Whether it's a leisurely stroll or an energetic jog, I ensure they get their daily dose of physical activity. Meal Times: I provide nutritious meals according to their dietary requirements, ensuring they're fed on time and have access to fresh water throughout the day. Playtime: Engaging the pets in interactive play sessions is crucial for their mental and physical stimulation. Whether it's a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek, I tailor the activities to suit the preferences of each pet. Rest and Relaxation: After a busy morning, I ensure the pets have a comfortable space to rest and recharge. Whether it's a cozy bed, a sunny spot by the window, or some quiet time in their crate, I respect their need for downtime. Exploration and Outdoor Adventures: Depending on the pets' energy levels and interests, I may take them on outings to the park, beach, walks. These excursions allow them to explore new environments and engage their senses. Evening Wind Down: As the day comes to a close, I help the pets wind down with some gentle activities like puzzle toys, calming music, or snuggle time on the couch. Overall, my goal is to provide a fun and fulfilling experience for the pets I watch, ensuring they're well-cared for and content in their temporary home away from home.
