Pet care experience
I have a wide range of experiences with pets, ranging from puppy training to elder cat care and everything in between. I grew up in a household with dogs, cats, and fish so I have experience with daily and long-term pet care, like bathing or nail clipping. I have lived with many different dog breeds, including border collies, dachshunds (weiner dogs if you didn’t already know!), pit bulls, labs, and boxers, and am more than comfortable working with energetic, larger, older, or ‘grumpier’ canine clients. I also have experience with young puppies having grown up with one of my dogs and later raising and training a puppy myself, so I have some familiarity with friendly training and discipline practices and would be more than happy to continue or begin any training you may want. I have also worked with smaller animals, from ferrets to crawfish, and can offer feeding and any specific enrichment they may need in addition to dog-related duties you may have.

Nathaniel is the best sitter I’ve ever had and if you need someone he’s your guy!! I have hired him multiple times to look after my adopted golden retriever and he took amazing care of her!!! My dog, Toffee, lived on a farm her whole life, so she’s not accustomed to seeing people and cars. So she’s very protective and a bit reactive towards things she doesn’t know. I was really nervous about having someone she didn’t know come over, so I asked Nate if he could come over and meet her while I was there to see if she would be okay and she loved him!!! She was all over him tail wagging and smiling when he walked in. I think she could just sense he was a kind and caring person and absolutely loved him. Nate’s awesome, I’ve hired him to take care of her a bit over a week and sometimes kind of last minute and he’s really flexible and super reliable which is great! My dog also had some bad eating habits when I got her, and would hardly eat because she used to share a bowl with several other dogs. I was nervous she wasn’t going to eat that week I was gone, and Nate sent me updates and said he would stay with her since she seemed to be eating when he sat with her. Which was huge a relief to hear. Whenever I need a sitter I always go straight to him, so if you need a sitter HIRE HIM!!!!
Nathaniel was a great sitter for my cat, Spotty (11 years old). Nathaniel was able to take care of my pet with such a short notice; I requested his service 1-2 days before a 4 day and 3 night trip, and he was able to take care of her. Communication surrounding the care of my pets was easily relayed, and Nathaniel clearly showed an interest in providing the best care possible. Additionally, Nathaniel provided me updates on my cats (i.e., messages when she fed her and photos). Overall, I would most definitely contact Nathaniel again to care for my pet.

Any rules you may have for guests and/or your pet will be taken into special consideration to ensure that your space receives the same respect it would if you were there yourself. My ultimate goals in offering care to your pets are for their experience to be enjoyable and non-disruptive and for you to feel as comfortable and confident as possible leaving that care in someone else's hands.

Availability
My primary obligations, besides your furry friends, are as a student and am only in class a couple of mornings a week. I'm generally available all day on Mondays, say for an odd hour or two, and free after around 1:00 P.M. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have obligations the majority of Wednesdays however, and am only available in the evenings. As for the weekends, I try to reserve Fridays for myself, but can always work with you in case of emergency with some additional heads-up, and offer care any time on Saturdays and Sundays. As for scheduling with me, all I ask is for about a day's notice so we can communicate any special needs or requests you or your pet might have to ensure your pet receives only the most satisfactory care.
