Some of my first memories involve dogs. I recall blurry visions of my husky licking my face as i toddled about the living room and the smell of warm hay as i played fetch with our golden retriever. These very early interactions with dogs helped me gain a very close connection with them. In my experience dogs have been viewed as a shared responsibility. When I was a young child I would be expected to feed the dogs, walk them, and make sure they were safe. Embracing these responsibilities lead me to create close relationships with each of our five dogs growing up. While I haven't worked with a specific company walking and caring for dogs, I've cared for many dogs for my friends and family. I've been the go-to individual that my friend group has relied upon to care for their furry friends in their time of need. In addition to a lifetime of experience caring for dogs I have the privilege of having a former vet technician as a partner. Roxanne has spent over ten years caring for dogs and cats in boarding, therapeutic, and clinical settings.
