* we recently moved and now have a backyard! Hello! I have been a dog owner and lover my entire life. My partner, Nicholle, and I currently have one pup, our lovely Winnie. We have been fostering dogs for 4.5 years, Winnie being our first (we couldn’t say bye!). Dozens of dogs have stayed with us on their way from hard times to loving homes. We're very experienced with watching pups of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. We love the opportunity to spend time with new dogs and to make owners feel secure that their pets are happy and safe. Nathan and Nicholle were great dog sitters for Sunny over a long weekend. I got to meet Nathan and their dog Winnie ahead of time, and he came to pick up and drop off Sunny due to my flight timings. They managed some stomach issues Sunny was having before I left and knew exactly how to deal with it. Also kept me updated with many photos! Will definitely use them in the future.
Nathan and Nicholle were amazing Rover sitters! It was my first time trying Rover and I felt so comfortable leaving my chihuahua after meeting Nathan and seeing the great dog haven they have. Their dog Winnie is so sweet and I was happy that my dog had a friend. They’re great at communicating before and during the trip. I loved getting pictures and updates each day I was gone! They were also super accommodating when my flight was delayed and were more than happy to change my booking to drop off my dog with my roommate. These two will definitely be my go-to sitters in the future.
I know my pup will be comfortable and cared for when she stays with Nathan and Nicolle. They will not just tolerate your pet but will genuinely enjoy their cuddles and personality— no matter grand!
Absolutely fantastic dog sitters! Emmy was clearly super comfortable, she’s a senior blind/deaf dog so she can get anxious. Nathan sent me regular updates and photos to make sure I was aware of how she was doing. Will definitely book again!

Your dog will have their choice of many, many dog beds that are strewn around our home. If they're allowed, we have many treats as well :) we're dog cuddlers, and if your dog is, they'll get all the attention they need. If not, that's okay too! They can retreat to one of the beds.

A general description of the dog's personality and temperament is very helpful, including how they get along with other animals. If your pet has any special needs, disabilities, etc., please let us know about those too. We're very experienced on that front and are happy to accommodate the needs of any of your pets. As of the time of typing this we are not certified in dog CPR, but we will be in two weeks!
A typical day
We love dog walks, and are located a block away from Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park! We have a very safe and walkable neighborhood. If your pup prefers to play inside with toys, we have plenty of those too.

I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and your dog will always have company! I can take them out as often as needed, and easily incorporate them into our routine.
