I work at home and can keep an eye on things all the time. My dogs sleep all day as they have their spots so I can keep others in same room as me if needed.

I have a fenced large back yard. I have 9yr 50lb husky and a 3 yr 90lb malamute. Both fixed. They are very high maintenance so I can deal with pretty much anything at this point! I have XXL crate if ever needed as well, my dogs out grew the need for it.

Let me know any special concerns. I don't have means to bathing. I can bath once weather gets better, im not a groomer but baths I used to give plenty lol. Right now though if you don't like mud or dog is a mud roller let me know if you want them kept inside.
A typical day
I will treat all dogs I watch like extended family giving them the same care I give my dogs. I have Ellis park nearby and river trail that has a sandy beach not even a mile away. My backyard has all kinds of toys to play with and neighbors both have fun playful dogs as well inside their fences. Treats are a plenty and I'm always thinking outside the box for more fun!

Hey there, I have many years caring for animals. I grew up with the best most people loving breed labs! Once grown up I worked 2 years at a vet clinic in Cedar Falls where I grew into administering medicine and boarding solo 100+ dogs at times. Past that I also had a year with dog daycare places here in cedar rapids. Moving from that I knew the breed I wanted to stick with in my life which is huskies and malamutes! I have a 9 year old and a 3 year old. They have been to parks all over town and only complaint over the years is from me trying to get them to go home hint they get along with all dogs any size. Backyard is fully fenced so there will be lots of playtime.

Nathan was great watching my dog! He was very communicative, responsive, and made my dog feel comfortable while he was there. We received pictures while we were out of town to know our dog was having fun and safe. Thanks again for watching him and we look forward to booking you again in the future!
Nathan was flexible when my plans needed to change and I had to change drop off date. He kept my dogs alive and they did not come home sick. I think he will keep animals safe which is the most important thing.
Nathan is amazing. He has watched my Wrigley twice now. Wrigley can be skittish at times, but Nathan is patient and takes amazing care of our boy. Anyone in Cedar Rapids area Nathan is the dog sitter you should use if you want your dog taken care of while you are away.
