Love my puppy pals!
Pet care experience
I've had a family dog since I was 3 years old, so I've been around them all my life. About 6 years ago I began working with our family vizsla and over roughly the next year she became a service dog for me. I also have a soft spot for bully breeds that get a bad wrap. I volunteer with Alamo City Pit Bull Rescue as much as I can. I just have an innate fascination with animals, especially dogs. Learning their behaviors, how they communicate with us, subtle queues, all of it is endlessly fascinating to me. Every dog has their own personality, and it's so cool getting to know new ones!
Reviews
Nathan was a huge help on such short notice. He cares for the dogs like his own and was overall Fantastic!. Will book again and recommend greatly.
Nathan has a huge heart for pets! Our dogs love to see him and usually tell us he's here before we know it. He's spent time rescuing malnourished animals, going through service dog training, and learning pet "languages". He's meticulous with our home and our preferred care for the dogs--extremely trustworthy. Highly recommend!

I like to make sure I know where all the supplies are, restrictions like physical or medical or dietary, feeding schedule, approved treats, any favorite treats or toys, any aggression or resource guarding (doesn't bother me, just don't want to get caught flat foot lol), and anything else the owner thinks I should know. Information exchange aside, I like to take the dogs for walks, pack walks if there's more than 1, at least twice a day depending on heat and weather. Puzzle toys are always great in my book. Tire out that mind too! In general I really try to stick with whatever routine the client has already set up, and if there's any questions I'm happy break things down or to offer suggestions!

Please let me know any special needs or behavioral consideration at the time of booking. I try to be very flexible and accommodating for these situations, I just need the information up front
A typical day
I love to take the dogs on "sniffaris" around parks and walking trails. Plus going to dog parks, ball tossing, and whatever playing around the pups are fond of. Car rides may include a coffee shop to get me a top up and them a pup cup!

Currently I'm looking for my next service dog puppy as my old on passed away, so I don't have a current routine. However I have walks and training and all sorts of stuff for when I get the little guy. Until then I spend my time playing with and caring for my parents' two older dogs, giving them baths, trimming nails, etc. They're our Golden Grrrls. 😁
