Pet care experience
Grown up with dogs my entire life. Haven’t lived in a household with less than three dogs since 2014. Started dog sitting through Indeed this past year and have been absolutely loving it. Figured Rover would be a much more streamlined way to continue doing what I love more easily. Have owned multiple Rottweilers as well as dogs under 20 pounds so comfortable with all breeds and sizes.
Reviews
Nathan is wonderful in taking care of Louie and communicated with us everyday with pictures. Thanks!
Cheddar had a great time at daycare at Nathan’s house! It was a long day and I so appreciated knowing that cheddar was in good hands. Thanks again Nathan!
Nathan is very personable and reliable. Clearly, someone who loves animals.
Nate is great! We hired him to walk our 4 month old puppy. He follows all instructions and leaves detailed information about each walk. Nate cares about the dogs he takes care of and I feel totally comfortable leaving my pup for the day knowing Nate will be there to walk and care for him!

At my house we have a fenced yard so my family and I spend a lot of time outside with the pups. Later in the day my dogs tend to lounge around inside and are gated to certain areas of the house with us and all also comfortable with being crated if necessary. At night our dogs usually sleep with my mother in her bed but when she is not home they are comfortable sleeping with me or my brother on or off our beds. At clients’ houses my experiences have been rather similar although I have never dog sat overnight before (something I definitely feel comfortable doing if needed though). Most of my training experience with dogs is focused on positive and negative word affirmation and association (treats and using positive/negative words/voice to reinforce positive behaviors)

Information Nathan H. would like to know about your pet
Be as detailed as possible when providing me with information regarding the care of your dog. I tend to ask a lot of questions as to make sure I am doing the best job possible for you and your dog so the more details available to me before I start to care for you dog, the better.
A typical day
I spend a lot of time playing with my three dogs at home outside with balls, frisbees and other dog toys as well as a small doggy pool we have so I am quite experinced/enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs, especially those with high energy. Also have made and used snuffle-mats (mats that you can hide treats in for your dog to sniff out and find) and other smaller mental stimulating dog games. Of course my favorite activity throughout the day with my pups is cuddling and pets for them. My three dogs are extremely comfortable with touch and love lounging around after playing so they will usually snuggle right up with any of us who are in the house as well as each other. I have a lot of experience walking dogs, whether it be my own, neighbors, or clients, but don’t usually walk my own that much as they spend a ton of time playing outside already and it’s also been extremely hot this summer.

Availability
IMPORTANT: I have a commitment 8-11 on Saturday-Sunday but am free anytime after 11 on the weekends as long as I’m not committed to watching/walking another dog. IMPORTANT: I live in a household of three (Me, my mom and my brother) and at least one of us is home at all times so you dogs will never be completely alone. Pet care is currently a large portion of my day-to-day life. My mom and brother work full time while I am only working part time (and 90% of that part time work is dog sitting) so I am mainly responsible for our three dogs at home. I feed, medicate, clean, walk and play, among other responsibilities, with them 5-7 days a week anywhere from 4-10 hours a day. Much of my part time dog sitting work falls under these responsibilities as well, though for much shorter periods of time per day.
