I’m a very positive person with a can-do attitude who loves life and animals, and I’m happy to share that love with pets around LA. I helped raise and care for a pug and two cats - our pug Zoey lived 12 years and cats Ali & Cassie lived 17 years. I did feeding, taking out, litter boxes, medicine, vet visits, playtime, mess management, you name it. Plus, I’m the go-to responsible friend for my friends that leave town and need someone to look after their pets. I’m highly detail-oriented & disciplined so I can follow instructions closely. I’m very patient so I can handle animals even on their bad days! And I have a big heart so I’ll provide the utmost care for your pet - no matter their size (big heart comes from being born & raised in Ohio). I’m always on my phone so I’m easy to communicate with and will never leave you guessing. You’ll receive all the photos and updates your heart desires. I’ve lived in LA for 5 years now and I work my dream job financing collector cars. I’m not allowed to have pets in my building so I’m loving the opportunity to meet & care for some great pets through Rover! Nathan has the magic touch with Archie - my big fluffy orange cat! Orange cats are notorious for their chaos but Nathan is never phased. Archie has a big heart and an even bigger temper, but he never fails to make biscuits on Nathan every time he comes over. I couldn’t have picked a better person to come watch him while I’m away!!! 🐈
Nathan is the BEST! I always feel better leaving for the day (or for longer trips) when I know Nathan will be with my yellow lab, Cooper. Cooper is obsessed with him and is always so excited to see him, so I never feel bad when I have to leave anymore. Nathan is so kind and fun to work with, he’s become a friend to me now! Listen - safety in LA has been spotty since the pandemic, but I don’t let this fear me at all. I’m highly alert of my surroundings at all times and workout daily to stay in shape. I follow instructions closely, am highly-detail oriented, and always assure the safety of those around me. This means double checking crate locks, closing every window, locking every door, always watching my back on walks, etc. I learned this from my father who was a law enforcement officer. LA is a crazy place but I love it and I can handle it - the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I’m extremely easygoing and not much bothers me - don’t hesitate to ask any specific instructions of me. I’m willing to do whatever to make you and your pets feel comfortable. My pug growing up had to take pills through her food and this was no problem for me to administer. I don’t really get grossed out, I like cleaning, and I can roll up my sleeves when needed.
A typical day
I believe walking is the best cardio, and we’re so lucky to live in a city where there’s so much to see anywhere you go for a walk. So, I’m always down to walk around a new neighborhood and explore a new place. Doing so with a dog would make it just that much more enjoyable for me. If we’re not walking, I’m happy to play with pets indoors for extended periods of time since I can monitor my work laptop from anywhere.

I work from home usually and make my own schedule, so I figured why not drop in and care for pets nearby as I’m working? I already do this for friends’ pets. I can prioritize pet visits first and plan my work around that, because pets are more fun than calls & emails anyway!
