Pet care experience
I like to communicate, spend time and walk with dogs. One of my favorite moments is seeing how excited a dog gets when you bring out the leash. I don't currently have the possibility of owning a dog--my cat would not appreciate sharing the house--but I have dog-sat for a number of different families in the past. I have a little more free time right now and enjoy a walk a day so I would love to help; some places I like to go walk are the Bay Lands, Arastradero preserve, Windy Hill, and even the beach for a treat, but it would be more fun with a four legged company. Fun Fact: With my background being in physical therapy, I plan on continuing to learn soft tissue work and training for dogs.

It would be good to know a bout any medical conditions so that I can be prepared if any issues arise. I would also like to know of the dog's social skills and if there is an history of aggressive temperament towards other persons or animals. If so, I'd like to know what sort of triggers to avoid. On the flip side, I'd also appreciate knowing what special things make the dog happy and comfortable. It would be helpful to know if there are any special commands that the owner would like me to use while handling the dog.
A typical day
I like going for a walk either around the neighborhood sidewalks or going to a pet friendly place like the baylands , Arastradero preserve or Windy Hill. I also enjoy some of the local dogs park. Depending on the dog's interest, playing fetch with a ball is a possibility. I am willing to entertain any other specific requests.
