Pet care experience
My experience began when I started volunteering at the age of 11 in a veternary hospital for domestic animals. I was exposed to cats and dogs and their medical needs. Since then I have been a pet groomer and a dog sitter for family and friends, I have experience training and medicating. As a groomer I encountered all types of breeds, and temperments. We also provided in home pet care while pet parents were away. Detailed schedules were follwed dilligently. Apart from domestic species I also have experience with exotic wildlife. I volunteered in Thailand at a Elephant rescue for two weeks, at WRI Wildlife Rescue Clinic rehabbing local wildlife for a year, I participated in the Primate Enrichment Program at the Rio Grande Zoo for over 3 years and interned at the Oakland Zoo as an Animal Keeper. I have a BA in Evolutionary Anthropology with a focus in Primates and a minor in Psychology. I posses the ability to do basic training and medical care. As you can see I have experience in all shapes and sizes and have a deep passion for animals.

Nathalia was beyond amazing. She expertly took care of my diabetic cat, giving him two insulin shots a day while staying in my apartment. She’s totally an animal person, my cat was inlove with her the second she walked in. Nathalia treated both my cat and her apartment like her own. She was amazing with communication and gave me daily and photos. I can’t recommend her enough. 6/5 stars!
Nathalia is absolutely amazing!!! This was our first time using rover and were a bit nervous to leave our dog with a stranger but Nathalia put us at ease. We dropped of our dog and he loved her right away. She has great energy. We had daily updates from her and actually enjoyed our vacation in peace because we knew our dog was in good hands. When I picked up my dog Nathalia gave me a breakdown of everything she did with him, which I really appreciated. She’s the best!
Nathalia recently took care of my two cats and she has been wonderful. She provided me updates and even did a log of each visit with a lot of details. It’s so good to know that your cats a in good hand! I will definitely recommend her to anyone.
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Nathalia. We have used Nathalia on many occasions to sit for our dogs Storm, Bella and Shadow. She is extremely flexible and has helped us on very short notice. We have used Nathalia Ziegler services for weekend trips and for week long trips. We have three dogs, and they can be quite a handful at times. Nathalia has managed them very well. Nathalia makes an effort to keep the dogs on their regular schedule. Her professional demeanor at our first meeting was impressive. She told us about her house key policy. On one occasion Nathalia called us while we were on vacation to tell us one of our dogs had been hurt. She made a recommendation for care. We accepted her recommendation. When we returned, we found her recommendation to be very appropriate for the situation. We know we can trust her judgment. It is assuring to know that we can call Nathalia on a moments notice, and that our dogs will receive great care while we are gone.

Any food, activity and toy preferences. Areas dogs are territorial over, and any additional behaviors that are uncommon. Sensitive physical body parts they do not like touched Current on Vaccines Age Temperment Solitary or Social Special feeding/water rituals or schedules (not limited to just diet)
A typical day
We can walk and explore the neighboorhood if the dog is new to the area, so that he/she can become familiar with its new home. There is a dog park right in front of the apartment to play catch and socialize with the neighborhood dogs. A few energy burning activites will be included such as; fetch, running, hide and seek and tag. Enrichment activities will be provided which help cognitive/naturalistic function and behaviors such as; finding a preffered food item, scent based scavenging and training. Teaching new tricks is fun for both dog and trainer!
