Eager to have fun with your pet!
Pet care experience
*Update* You might notice our lack of availability in 2024. That is because Whitney is due with our first child at the end of April! We would still love to have pups be a part of our life after we welcome our daughter into the world, but we marked ourselves as unavailable because we will need to start out our new rhythms by hosting our familiar/regular dogs or very calm dogs. If you think your pup would be a good fit for new parents, please send over any requests for June and July! Once the fall comes around, we will open up our availability again accordingly. My wife and I have each had multiple dogs since we were kids and have experience with many kinds of dogs. In college I lived with two guys who trained service dogs for 3 years. We love getting to play with and care for our friends and family's dogs any chance we get! We have a small yard and plenty of green spaces nearby for your dog to walk and play, such as Goodale Park, the Olentangy Trail, and a dog park a short drive or walk away. We love going for walks, runs, and playing tug of war and fetch, so we're excited to care for energetic dogs.
Reviews
Nate and Whitney came to our rescue for a last minute visit with relatives. They sent lots of pictures and kept us informed of how Biggs was doing. We could enjoy our visit knowing he was in great hands! Thank you so much!
Nate and Whitney were amazing! They kept us updated the entire time and took great care of Ellie and Emma. Will definitely be back.
Nate and Whitney always take fabulous care of Ophelia and send us pupdates often! Thank you guys!
Nate and Whitney are obviously dog lovers and Tillie enjoyed her stay with them. She even made a new doggy friend, too. It was Tillie’s first time away from us and I appreciated Nate and Whitney helping her adjust and settle in. Also appreciated their understanding of Tillie’s minor troublemaking in our absence!

We’ve created safe spaces for pets in our home in a couple ways. If we ever have multiple dogs staying with us, we feed them separately. We try to only ever have one dog stay with us at a time, unless we have boarded on before and are familiar with their temperament. Finally, because we don’t have a fenced yard we never let dogs off leash outside. Instead, we give them a couple short walks a day around our block.

Information Nate & Whitney T. would like to know about your pet
We do not accept booking requests for dogs who are prone to separation anxiety, chewing possessions, or accidents. We will only watch dogs who can go through the night without accidents. Sometimes we are out of the house for up to 4 hours at a time, so unfortunately we cannot watch dogs who cannot be left alone for that period of time. Additionally, let us know about any dietary restrictions, medical history, and behaviors to know (like how they walk on a leash, etc) about that would help us make their stay great!
A typical day
We love to engage your dog throughout their stay with playing games like tug of war and fetch. We also would love to take them for walks on the Olentangy Trail or take them to a dog park nearby.

Availability
We create our own schedules and work from home for parts of our job, so we are pretty flexible! Once you submit a request, we adjust our schedules for meet and greets, drop off, pick up, and spending as much time as possible with your pets! We don’t have any dogs, but through Rover we’re able to care for your pets like their our own :)
