I have had a miniature Dachshund for the past 7 or so years, and I absolutely love having him around! We play regularly, and he loves to wrestle so we do that quite a bit. In addition to my own dog, I have taken care of a couple of German Shepherds who are absolutely amazing dogs. I always look forward to taking care of them! I go out to the farm house where they love, and I feed then, give them fresh water, and spend a good hour or two just playing with them and petting them, making sure they get enough socialization. I've also cared for a Pug, some Shih-tzus, a Rottweiler, and a another German Shepherd! I always make sure to spend a decent amount of time with the dogs, so that they dont have to be alone for too long. As for dog-walking, well, that's one of my favorite activities! It gets both the dogs and me doing something active! It's a great time of bonding and fun, and I always make sure I dont take the dog too far so as not to overheat them. Their health and well-being is my primary concern.
